Danielle Perez is a Los Angeles based comedian, writer, and actor. Funny, feminist, and fierce, this queer Afro-Latina doesn’t hold back. Her personal and biting stand-up has appeared on Comedy Central, at Sundance, and the Netflix Is A Joke Comedy Festival.

Danielle was profiled by The Los Angeles Times after a breakout performance in the 2020 Viacom/CBS Showcase. In 2021 she was named a New Face at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and a Comedian You Should And Will Know by Vulture. Danielle was a Stand Up NBC Semifinalist in 2018 and 2019 and has opened for Nicole Byer, Maria Bamford, Nick Kroll, Cristela Alonzo, Aida Rodriguez, Cameron Esposito, Guy Branum, and Atsuko Okatsuka.

Danielle can be seen in A24’s first musical, Dicks: The Musical, starring Megan Thee Stallion and directed by Larry Charles. She voices Charlotte Webber/Sun-Spider in Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. Danielle has appeared on With Love (Amazon), Russian Doll (Netflix), Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO), and Special (Netflix).

Funny, feminist, and fierce, this bold Afro-Latina isn’t afraid to get personal. Danielle has been profiled by CNN, Great Big Story, WhoHaha, and GabiFresh. She was the face of Refinery29’s 2016 #TakeBackTheBeach campaign and in 2018 highlighted as one of the 13 Powerful Women Who Are Making LA a Better Place by Los Angeles Magazine.

Danielle wrote, produced, and starred in the short film My Best Friend’s Best Friend’s Wedding for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge and voices a demon created in her likeness in Comedy Central’s animated short Cornhole.

Not just a performer, Danielle is a disability rights advocate who has spoken on the importance of accessibility in comedy and entertainment at the NALIP Media Summit, Paramount Global Summit on Disability and the USC School Of Comedy.

A founding member of Thigh Gap Comedy, Danielle produces live comedy shows with fellow bad bitches Madison Shepard and Danielle Radford. Together they host GENTRIFICATION, a popular, monthly, diversity showcase at Avenue 50 Studio, in her hometown neighborhood of Highland Park.

Those who are chronically online will recognize Danielle as the woman in a wheelchair, with no feet, who won a treadmill on The Price Is Right. She appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for her hilarious reaction to winning the awkward prize.
